Hachette Book Group Signs Distribution Deal With Phoenix International Publications, Inc.
February 17, 2016 – Hachette Book Group (HBG) has signed a distribution agreement with Phoenix International Publications, Inc., also known as pikids (http://www.pikidsmedia.com/). Beginning May 1, 2016, HBG will provide North American distribution, fulfillment, customer service and billing/collection services to pikids. Based in Lincolnwood, IL, pikids is one of the nation’s largest children’s publishers and the leader in sound books, with licensing partners that include Disney, Nickelodeon, Sesame Workshop, and many more child and family favorites. Prior to 2014, pikids was the children’s division of Publications International, LTD (PIL), and is now a division of Phoenix Publishing & Media Group (PPMG), the largest publishing company in China, who also has a partnership with Hachette Livre.
