Bibblio provides B2B solutions for content enrichment and content discovery. Bibblio’s APIs provide easy tools for education and non-fiction publishers, institutions and archives to drive deeper user engagement with their catalogues in digital applications. The API platform can also make providers’ content accessible to third party platforms, providing new syndication opportunities and further expanding content exposure and audience reach. We are already working with larger partners, such as BBC Learning, National Geographic and Oxford University Press.

Bibblio provides a sophisticated turnkey solution to enrichment and recommendation, meaning clients can start to benefit in hours, rather than months or years. Furthermore, our technology has the ability to provide more abstract and thematic insights into content that go far beyond standard keywords and entities. Applying scalable technology to these challenges frees up valuable resources for content creation and editorial curation. Additionally, the Bibblio platform can offer content owners new insights into the actual usage and perception of their content.

What’s the single biggest benefit your customers get from your service?
Bibblio offers enrichment and discovery as a service to its customers through an API platform. Using an API platform means that Bibblio can enrich large volumes of content with unprecedented ease and speed. A new customer can start retrieving enrichment results from Bibblio in a matter of hours of signing up, and can start generating better content recommendations with plug and play widgets.

What’s the single biggest problem for your customers right now?
Being able to locate relevant, high quality content when needed is a critical factor in improving user engagement and retention in a world fighting for users’ attention. The main challenge for media companies and publishers have, in just a few years, switched from content distribution to content discovery.

What’s the single biggest opportunity for your customers right now?
For knowledge publishers, the opportunity in Edtech is significant. In the span of five years, digital content in education and learning will grow from $100 billion to over $400 billion. Bibblio makes content more accessible, empowering content providers and engaging their audiences, while expanding their horizons. At the moment, tons of quality resources are sitting idle in servers and clouds around the world.

What industry trends do you think will have the greatest impact on your customers the next 24 months?
After the rapid growth of content marketing engines like Outbrain and Taboola dragging the market towards scale metrics, publishers will re-focus on quality metrics, discovery and impact. Demand for easy access to relevant, high quality content will drive growth in the intersection between education and media.
