30th Annual New York Book Show Submissions

New York, NY –The Book Industry Guild of New York (BIGNY) is currently accepting entries for its 30th annual New York Book Show.

The BIGNY-hosted show celebrates outstanding design and production for books published between
January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015. The event offers displays of award-winning titles as well as an opportunity to mingle with industry peers.

The following types of submissions are sought:

• Book
• Book series
• Cover or jacket
• Cover or jacket series
• Self-published cover

The latter type is new to the New York Book Show and is intended to recognize the contributions of this growing segment of book publishing.

Submissions should also fit into one of the following categories:

• Children’s trade
• General trade
• Specialty trade
• Scholarly/Professional
• Self-published covers: Fiction or Non-Fiction

Submission deadline: Wednesday, May 4, 2016.

    Having recently published the first of a multi part mystery series through Createspace.com, I want to expand my knowledge of both digital and traditional publishing possibilities. The 2nd book of the Allison Palmer mystery series is currently in process.
