Simon & Schuster signs a global sales and distribution agreement with Gallup Press, the research organization’s publishing arm.
Effective January 1, 2016, the deal puts Simon & Schuster in charge of distributing all of Gallup’s English-language print and ebooks around the world, as well as translated titles in certain markets.
The agreement covers both front- and back-list titles. In an announcement of the deal today Simon & Schuster characterizes Gallup Press’s back-list, which stands at some thirty titles to date, as a “highly selective list” that offers “tremendous opportunities” for global growth.

NEW YORK, June 9—Simon & Schuster has entered into a global sales and distribution agreement with Gallup Press, the highly-successful publishing arm of the world-renowned Gallup. Under the agreement, which is effective January 1, 2016, Simon & Schuster will handle English language sales and distribution in all territories worldwide for Gallup Press’s new and backlist publishing in print and digital formats. In addition, Simon & Schuster will handle sales of translated editions in select foreign language markets.
