IPR License Launches Program to Market Book Rights

[Press Release]

IPR License launches Spotlight

IPR License has announced the launch of Spotlight, an innovative new promotional tool showcasing exclusive rights for key titles from publishers across a range of global territories.

The inaugural Spotlight webinar will focus on some of the hottest new Spanish language works and goes live at 2pm GMT on Wednesday 1 October at http://www.iprlicense.com/Pages/Index/45/Spotlight

It will include works from Planeta, Roca Editorial and Plataforma Editorial across YA, non-fiction, mystery and women’s fiction and offer exclusive access to the key titles currently available from a selection of the most forward-thinking Spanish language publishing houses.

Through the IPR License platform interested parties can view, offer, negotiate and complete rights licensing deals on all featured titles.

Tom Chalmers, Managing Director of IPR License, commented:

“Spotlight spawned from conversations with publishers across various territories who expressed their growing interest in acquiring rights for Spanish language works. After meeting with a number of Spanish publishers it soon became clear that there was an appetite to explore new ways to engage with existing and emerging markets to bolster rights and licensing business on an international scale.

“This obviously led to the development of Spotlight which we hope will work to generate additional interest and greater worldwide exposure for some fantastic and highly marketable titles.”

Maria Alasia, editor and foreign rights at Plataforma Editorial, said:

“Being part of Spotlight will allow our company and our authors to reach territories we couldn’t on our own and, more importantly, new readers from all over the world will be able to discover the books that they have been waiting for.”
