Follett’s PreK-12 Businesses Unite as Follett School Solutions, Inc.
New entity to offer integrated solutions for educational content and technology
Follett’s PreK-12 businesses will become one legal entity named Follett School Solutions, Inc., effective April 1. The new entity is part of Follett’s strategy to deliver increased value to customers by integrating and leveraging the content and technology capabilities of its previously separate businesses: Follett Educational Services, Follett Library Resources and Follett Software Company.
“This will allow us to simplify how we partner with our customers to deliver integrated education solutions to PreK-12 schools that help administrators, educators and students achieve their goals,” said Tom Schenck, president and COO, Follett School Solutions. “We’ll now be one resource for a suite of services and solutions that deliver educational materials, technology platforms, and comprehensive student data management.”
Schenck said while the transition for Follett’s customers would be seamless, customers will need to update their accounting and purchase order information by visiting www.follettupdates.com. The same site also contains a thorough FAQ section, plus a list of contact numbers for those seeking more information or support.
Follett International will remain its own legal entity, though customers located outside the United States will continue to benefit from the same realignment advantages as customers inside the U.S.
