The deadline for the 2014 Digital Book Awards (DBA), which celebrates innovation in apps and ebook publishing, has been extended to October 15. Interest in the awards this year, formerly known as the Publishing Innovation Awards, has eclipsed all previous years.
“There so many wonderful digital works out there, we just couldn’t bar the gate yesterday,” said DBA program director Anne Kostick. “We want to make sure these works get their chance to be recognized.”
