NEW YORK, (October 17, 2013)—MyRecipes.com, the Time Inc. Each recipe in the eCookbook will include a photo, along with the ingredient list and step-by-step instructions. Other features include a table of contents, recipe index, search tool, bookmarks, and notes. For additional customization, consumers can upload their own cover image.

“We’re excited to introduce this first-of-its-kind publishing platform that delivers the ultimate in personalization.” said Tina Imm, General Manager, Lifestyle Digital Group, Time Inc. “These user-generated eCookbooks allow us to continue to deliver a customized experience when and where consumers want it.”

The eCookbooks cost $1.99 for 20 recipes; additional recipes can be added in groups of 10 for $.99. The eCookbook is both iPad- and Nook-optimized.
