New technology allows consumers to receive autographed e-Books
This month, HarperCollins is recreating the concept of the book signing, and opening author events to fans across the world. On March 27 at 8:00pm Eastern Daylight Time, #1 New York Times bestselling author Stephanie Laurens will discuss her new book, And Then She Fell, in a live streaming event from Sydney, Australia, as Autography delivers digitally signed e-Books to participants around the globe. Readers can tune in as Laurens chats about her beloved Cynster family novels, and virtual event attendees from the United States, United Kingdom and Australia may receive a copy of a DRM-free e-sampler, “The World of Stephanie Laurens.” 10,000 copies will be awarded, 250 of which will be personalized with autographs. Laurens will answer questions about popular character, Henrietta (“The Matchbreaker” who meets her match in And Then She Fell) and all the Cynster sisters, who find their own true loves – and lots of adventure – with the help of a charmed necklace. Upon registering for the event, readers will be entered for a chance to receive a signed e-sampler (in all three territories: US, UK, Australia) that introduces them to the characters, setting and inspiration behind Laurens’ 51 published novels and stories.
