Diversion Books Partners with Vook for Large-Scale Ebook Production
Vook will power publisher Diversion Books’ print-to-digital book conversion and digital production at scale.
Diversion Books and Vook today announced a new partnership for Vook to provide digital conversion of Diversion’s existing print books and digital creation of ebook files for all the major marketplaces, accelerating their title catalog and helping them quickly release hundreds of ebooks in the coming months. Diversion Books—an ebook publishing company marketing original and backlist works—plans to release books from multiple best-selling and new and upcoming authors in 2013, working with Vook to provide the production and technology back end to their acquisition, editorial and creative expertise.
“We are very excited about our new partnership with Vook. Diversion has been working closely with Vook for several years and this new arrangement brings a deeper involvement between our companies. This collaboration allows Diversion to quickly increase the number of quality authors we can publish and promote,” says Scott Waxman, CEO and founder of Diversion Books.
“We released some of our earliest titles at Vook in collaboration with Scott Waxman, and his team.. So we’re pleased and proud to continue and expand that relationship directly with Diversion, the innovative publishing company that we saw Scott and his team grow successfully in 2012,” said Matthew Cavnar, Vook’s VP of Business Development.
