U.S. Tablet Owners More Willing to Pay for Content, 58% Bought Books

According to a recent Nielsen study, U.S. tablet computer owners are more willing to pay for content than their European peers. Almost 60% of them have bought books as of the fourth quarter 2011:

Most U.S. tablet owners have paid for downloaded music (62%) and books (58%) for usage on their device. Approximately half have paid for movies (51%).
