Sesame and Callaway Win Kids App Award

Sesame Street and Callaway Digital Arts has won a Cynopsis: Kids !magination Award for best preschool app for their collaboration on The Monster at the End of This Book app based on the best-selling children’s book of the same name.

The awards are organized by Cynopsis, a free daily e-publication covering the business of children’s entertainment; this was the inaugural year for the awards.

In other news for the two companies, Sesame and Callaway announced a deal that would have Callaway creating three new apps for the non-profit children’s publisher.

Formerly a bi-coastal company, Callaway recently closed its New York offices and has consolidated its operations to San Francisco.

The inaugural Cynopsis Kids !magination Awards took place in New York City on June 7, and honored the year’s best kids programming and marketing.
