Are Now Available on E
(New York, NY, May 15th) Open Road Integrated Media, a digital publisher and multimedia content company, announced today that it will bring three of Gloria Steinem’s works to E as part of its author brand program. Open Road will digitally publish and market ebooks of Moving Beyond Words, Outrageous Acts and Everyday Rebellions and Revolution from Within. The titles go on sale today.
As a spokesperson for the women’s movement who lectures continuously around the globe, Steinem is as relevant today as she has been for more than four decades. She has recently been profiled in a New York Times front page Style Section story and was the subject of the critically acclaimed HBO documentary, Gloria: In Her Words. Steinem’s work addresses institutional inequalities of sex, race, class, and access to power in the United States and abroad. The New York Times said: “Ms. Steinem’s enduring contribution to the women’s movement has been her ability to popularize feminist issues to a wide and often wary audience.”
The ebooks will include an illustrated biography featuring never before seen photos. Open Road will produce marketing videos about Steinem and her work which will be syndicated to content partners.
Gloria Steinem leads Open Road’s catalog of legendary female writers like Alice Walker, Erica Jong, Alix Kates Shulman, and Virginia Hamilton.
