Noelle Skodzinski, editorial director of Publishing Executive and Book Business magazines, has left the company.
“NAPCO is still working through the terms of her exit agreement,” said Matt Steinmetz, publisher of Publishing Executive and Book Business magazines at North American Publishing Company (NAPCO). “We can confirm that she’s no longer with the company at this time and will have additional information when appropriate. We are all appreciative of her years of service and wish her the best going forward.”
It is unclear why she is leaving the company and where she will head next. Skodzinski has been contacted for comment but did not reply before press time.
Digital Book Wire learned about Skodzinski’s departure from a source familiar with the matter.
Skodzinski has been with NAPCO for nine years, according to her LinkedIn profile. Before joining NAPCO in 2003, Skodzinski was editor of The Crafts Report, a monthly magazine for crafts professionals owned by Jones Publishing, from 1995 through 2001. She started her career in public relations at Elkman Advertising where she worked from 1993 to 1995. She graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J. in 1993.
On March 19 and 20, Skodzinkski emceed NAPCO’s Publishing Business Conference and Expo in New York City.
