Kobo Hires Team of Developers in Ireland
In a move to expand its footprint in the Irish market, ebook platform Kobo has created a software development center in Dublin that has created 30 new jobs there. The center will work on development of Kobo’s worldwide suite of software products, which include its e-reading software as well as its self-publishing software, Writing Life.
The move comes three months after Kobo announced a partnership with the UK’s Booksellers Association that is putting Kobo devices and ebooks in independent bookshops across England and Ireland.
