HarperCollins will be offering some of its e-book titles through a subscription service for the business market for the first time through a partnership with Skillsoft, a cloud-based learning platform used by businesses to train their employees.
Business books from several HarperCollins authors will be featured as part of Skillsoft’s BusinessPro on-demand training section, including Dan Ariely, Jim Champy, Peter Drucker and more.
Many publishers also already work with e-book subscription providers like Safari Books Online, which has a collection of tens of thousands technical and training books, and Spanish company 24Symbols.
Of course, Amazon Kindle device owners who are also Amazon Prime subscribers have access to over 100,000 e-book titles through the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library.
