F+W Media Appoints eCommerce Vice President
Lucas Hilbert Joins Company After 10 Years with Amazon
Ft. Collins, CO – July 23, 2012 – F+W Media today announced the hiring of Lucas Hilbert, formerly Senior Product Manager, Marketing and Merchandising at Amazon, to the position of Vice President of eCommerce for the Company. In this newly-created role, Hilbert will have responsibility for the Company’s entire eCommerce division – from operations to marketing to customer service – reporting to Chad Phelps, F+W Chief Digital Officer. Hilbert has also been named to the F+W Media Executive Committee. In 2008 F+W established its first direct-to-consumer eCommerce store, today the Company owns and operates more than 20 eCommerce stores, centered on its enthusiast communities.
