Facebook Coming to Amazon Author Pages

Facebook is coming to Amazon author pages soon to help authors further integrate their online social activities with their presence on Amazon.com.

Amazon’s author pages already feature information such as videos, bibliography and Twitter feeds and authors will soon be able to add through Amazon’s Author Central portal their Facebook feed, according to Amazon director of author and publisher relationships Jon Fine, speaking at the Digital Book World Discoverability and Marketing conference.

Every author on Amazon has an author page and having that page up-to-date and full of relevant information helps improve discoverability, said Fine.

“It boosts discoverability on and off Amazon,” said Fine. “It pops up when someone is looking for your name.”

The author portal also offers useful tools like a sales heat map that authors can use to geo-target their marketing efforts and, for Amazon Publishing authors, a beta program that lists daily Kindle e-book unit sales.

Hi guys, I’ve already done that on my own. Check my book “KDP’s Best-Kept Secret Revealed: How to Embed Videos and Widgets in Your Book Description” on Amazon. Take a look at the book description and the “About the Author” box and you will see my Tweet and Facebook Post boxes there. Please take a look and let me know what you think.

The book is here: http://amzn.to/1evdevT. Not sure if you allow urls but I am just gonna leave it there.

    Cheers,

Wonderful blog! I found it while surfing around on Yahoo News.
Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News?

I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get
