Ebook Best-Sellers $0.00 to $2.99 Week Ending 10-27-12
Why is The Last Lecture, a Hyperion book that was new in 2008, at the top of our $0 to $2.99 ebook best-seller list? Two reasons: pricing and promotions. In Sept., the price of the book was lowered to $1.99, very attractive for any ebook, especially one that had been a best-seller in print. And just last week, Amazon made the title part of one of its “Gold Box” daily deals and it shot to No. 1 on the Amazon list, which gave it a significant boost in our list.
