Digital People Moves: Collingridge to Safari and Dawson to Bowker
Peter Collingridge joins Safari Books Online, the Sebastopol, Calif.-based e-book subscription service for professionals, as vice president of product development. Collingridge is founder of Bookseer, a book marketing data company, as well as co-founder of Enhanced Editions, a start-up publisher of enhanced e-books. He is also the owner of Apt Studio, a London-based marketing agency specializing in the book publishing industry.
He is currently based in London but will be relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area this summer, according to a statement from Safari.
And Laura Dawson is joining New York-based book market research firm R.R. Bowker as a product manager. Most recently, Dawson was head of communications for Firebrand Technologies, a Newburyport, Mass.-based digital content technology vendor.
