Bestselling author and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Anna Quindlen is taking over Random House’s @AtRandom Twitter feed on Tuesday, April 24 to coincide with the release of her memoir, LOTS OF CANDLES, PLENTY OF CAKE (Random House Hardcover). Followers will get to see a day in the life of an author as Anna live tweets from her book tour. On the agenda: Morning Joe, Huffington Post, an interview with Redbook, a Talbots event with blogger Liz Gumbinner, and an iVillage #Quindlen Twitter party. Although Quindlen is active on Facebook (www.facebook.com/annaquindlen), this is her first foray into Twitter. “I knew there was some reason I passed all those notes in seventh grade. Had no idea at the time that I was prepping for book tour,” said Quindlen (in 140 characters or less). Follow Anna tomorrow at www.twitter.com/atrandom.
