Apple and the federal government have come to terms, but not about what you think.
Apple has been added to the list of firms that offer e-book versions of official government documents, according to Information Week. Apple joins Google, Barnes & Noble, OverDrive, Ingram and Zinio as companies that have e-book partnerships with the Government Printing Office, the department that handles printing of government documents.
As of now, government documents from the federal budget to the 9/11 Commission report are available on iTunes.
