Bradley Graham and Lissa Muscatine, Owners of Politics & ProseIn this exclusive interview, Bradley Graham and Lissa Muscatine, the new owners of Politics & Prose in Washington, DC, discuss their decision to purchase the world renowned bookstore and their views on the future of independent bookselling.

From the interview:

I approached the prospect of buying Politics & Prose, much as a journalist would, writing a story about the state of the independent bookselling industry, identified a number of bookstore sellers around the country who I wanted to talk to, and set out to interview them and find out how they have managed to survive, what their views were about the future of the industry, what they were doing and I came away with a whole set of impressions, but most of all, very encouraged about the future of the independent bookselling business.
