F+W Media and IngramWe don’t usually run press releases here, but this one affects Digital Book World directly as F+W Media is our parent company and this deal will allow us to add an expanded selection of books to our own eStore, complementing our growing range of DBW products.

It also allows me to get a step closer to my personal dream of running a bookstore! As soon as I get the signal, among the first books I plan to add will be The Cluetrain Manifesto, Groundswell and You Are Not a Gadget.

F+W Media agreement with Ingram Content Group will add 500,000 titles to 21 eStores

CINCINNATI – F+W Media, Inc. and Ingram Content Group Inc. announced today they have established an “online commerce collaboration” to enhance the breadth of products that are available through F+W Media’s 21 eStores.

The agreement will add approximately 500,000 additional book titles available from Ingram, the leading wholesaler of physical and digital content in the book industry, and publishers working with Ingram will gain access to an additional robust sales channel.
